Much-loved ship Marco Polo, formerly with Orient Lines, joins the Transocean Tours fleet this spring.
The 824-passenger ship will offer exceptional value cruising from London Tilbury to the Norwegian Fjords, the Baltic, North Cape, the British Isles, Iceland and the Caribbean.
The Marco Polo is traditional in style with a homely feel with a pool and two restaurants, a range of bars, lounges and a health spa.
Cruise durations, ranging from six to 12 nights, are being operated from the convenient London Cruise Terminal departure point.
A total of 14 summer sailings will run between April and August including a new Celtic Explorer itinerary in July around the west coast of Ireland, featuring the company’s first calls in Glangariff and Killybeggs.
Departures kick-off on April 19 with a six-night Spingtime Fjordland voyage to Norway, the first of six similar itineraries running until the end of May.
A nine-night round-Britain itinerary in May, June and July includes calls at Invergordon, Kirkwall, Stornoway, Portree, Tobermory, Dublin, the Scilly Islands and Guernsey.
The North Cape is featured in June with a 12-night itinerary as is Iceland and the Northern Isles.
A 12-night Baltic Cities and St Petersburg cruise in July includes calls at Tallin, Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen with transits of the Kiel Canal.
The autumn West Indies cruise runs for 32 nights and visits 13 Caribbean islands and departs on October 4.
The winter 2008-09 fly-cruise programme will cover South America, Antarctica, Panama Canal and the Caribbean.
