Your guide to see when and where Costa Classica sails
Click the ship icon to view applicable cruises available to your preferred destination by month

The Costa Classica, built in 1992, was the first of the new generation of large cruise ships built by Costa.
Following in the rich traditions of Costa's magnificent Italian-inspired vessels, the Costa Classica epitomizes our devotion to Italian design. Richly embellished public rooms feature rare woods and Carrara marble, exquisitely detailed by the finest European artisans. Millions have been invested in original works of art including sculptures, paintings, murals, wall hangings and handcrafted furnishings.
What to pack:
During the day whilst onboard or going ashore, we suggest casual clothings/sportwear and comfortable shoes. As it may be cooler in the evenings and when the ship is at sea you should bring a sweater or jacket. There is not a strict dress code for the evening but Guests usually follow the suggestion detailed in the daily programme: casual; informal (jacket for men); formal/gala (cocktail dresses for ladies and dinner jacket of dark suit for man). On most cruises there are theme nights and a Roman evening so you may wish to pack appropriate items.
Please note ? Swimsuits are not permitted in the main restaurant or lounges, and shoes are required at all times. Long shorts are allowed in the main restaurant only during morning and afternoon hours and not in the evening.
Tips:
According to international custom in the hospitality industry tipping is accepted as a way of recognising good service. For your convenience we have introduced an automatic tipping system, so instead of worrying how much and when to tip, and amount of 6 Euro or US $ 8 per person per day will be added to your onboard account. If for any reason you wish to increase or reduce that amount you can contact the information office onboard. For your convenience, a service charge of 15% is added to all bar and wine orders.
Disable Guests:
A limited number of cabins are available which offer facilities for guests with disabilities. Details of disability must be advised at the time of booking. Passengers confined to wheelchairs must have their own standard size collapsible wheelchair and must be accompanied by a travelling companion who is able to assist them. Measurements of wheelchairs must be given to Costa cruises at the time of booking. Facilities in some ports may preclude quests in wheelchairs from going ashore, particularly when the ship is at anchor and tenders are used to go ashore.
