Boudicca

Boudicca, named after the great warrior queen of the Iceni, is the sister ship to Fred Olsen?s Black Watch, and will have a similar spacious layout encompassing gracious décor, stylish interiors and generously sized, beautifully fitted cabins. Characteristics familiar to Fred Olsen customers will include large windows, flooding the ship with light, and a teak promenade deck for strolling or relaxing, all of which will contribute to the sense of space and relaxation associated with Fred Olsen ships. Boudicca has undergone a comprehensive refit in October 2005, which included the creation of many extra balcony cabins and suites, as well as the fitting of new engines and propellers for faster, smoother sailing. The completed ship has 450 cabins and carry around 850 passengers, in keeping with the Fred Olsen philosophy of operating smaller, more intimate vessels.
